""We dont know what you have been doing with the car." AVOID! Worst agent ever who will treat you like dirt and overcharge to boot. Progressive was 35% less! I had 2 policies for 5 years with 0 missed payments. I switched to a new method of direct bank payment and apparently they did not receive it. So I sent it again and they again claimed it was not received, even though the system worked for every other payment I made. I would understand them suspending my policy, even though I did send payments, but they cancelled it and insisted I had to reapply under all new "circumstances" since now they "didn't know what I had been doing with the car." I have never heard such none-sense and no legitimate insurance company will ever ask you this question. They issued my first policy without "knowing what I had been doing with the car".. (it's a show car that sat in the garage nearly the entire time). The new price was more than double what I was previously paying and Dan himself made it clear it was a punishment for my unreceived payment. He then said he could "cancel my other policy if I'd like?", while on a peewee league passive-aggressive power trip. He assumed I was poor and would be cut off without the polices, when in fact they were both for heavily modified show vehicles I rarely drive. All my trucks are insured through my business. The silver lining was progressive issued me the same coverage policies for 65% of what I was previously paying this smug jerk. Luckily, I was able to call him back the same day to take him up on that unprompted offer to cancel my second policy also. You have been warned."

"I was with Dan Costly for about 15 years. I was in an accident a week ago and come to find out he had been lying bro me about my coverage. I found out through State Farm directly and when I called him about it he was rude and refused to take any responsibility. Now I have no coverage for a new car and I have to pay thousands in storage fees. Please DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU OR ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT. He can not be trusted and I am trying to make sure he can't do this to anymore people. If you have also been a victim of Dan Costly, please contact me There is strength in numbers and hopefully we can somehow help each other and work together to get him shutdown."
